Majeed Milad’s First Trial Hearing to be Held on July 13 over “Inciting Civil Disobedience of the Law”

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Public Prosecution decided to refer member of the General Secretariat of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Majeed Milad, to trial. His first trial hearing will be held on July 13, 2015.
Majeed Milad appeared before the Public Prosecution on Thursday (July 9, 2015) so that it could look into renewing his pre-trial detention, after being held for one week on remand.
Bahraini lawyer Abdullah Al-Shamlawi posted on his twitter account that Milad will be tried before the Fourth Lower Criminal Court over charges of publicly inciting civil disobedience of the law.
It is worth mention that the Bahraini authorities had summoned the member of Al-Wefaq's General Secretariat and former chairman of the capital's municipal council, Majeed Milad, for questioning on Thursday (July 2, 2015) and decided to detain him for 7 days pending investigation over political seminars in which he participated.
