Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The Chief of Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major-General Hassan Firouzabadi called on Bahrain on Sunday (August 9, 2015) to seize what he described as the "remaining opportunity" to reach an accord with the people so that developments can take "a positive route serving the interests of the government and people.
During a press conference, Firouzabadi said that "the Bahraini people want their voice to be the foundation. This is a legitimate, rightful and ongoing demand," considering that "Bahrainis have proven that they can neither be suppressed nor silenced."
Firouzabadi also called on the Bahraini government to seize the "remaining opportunity" in order to reach an agreement with the Bahraini elite and release political leaders from prison, so that developments would take a positive course for the sake of Bahrain's government and people.
