Al-Wefaq Condemns Karana Blast & Calls on Opposition Supporters to Distance Themselves from Anyone who Adopts Violence

Bahrain Mirror: Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society condemned the bomb blast that took place in Budaiya Highway on Friday night, August 28, 2015, which left a policeman killed and others injured, according to Bahrain's Ministry of Interior. Al-Wefaq stressed that "the bombing is an unacceptable and condemned act."
In its statement issued on Saturday, August 29, 2015, Al-Wefaq stressed that any violent act and any act that puts lives and properties in danger is condemned and is also against the interests of Bahrain and its people regardless of the side that committed this act.
"The popular movement is committed to the Declaration of Non-Violence Principles. Al-Wefaq has made great efforts and is still seeking to achieve the goals stipulated in the declaration to prevent Bahrain from sliding into a dangerous path," said Al-Wefaq, calling on opposition supporters to "distance themselves from any party that adopts violence and to reject these choices."
