Bahrain Mirror: Mubarak Al-Binali, father of the most prominent preachers of the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS), Turki Al-Binali, said that the Bahraini authorities prevented him from leaving Bahrain and told him that he is banned from travel.
Al-Binali tweeted on August 19, 2015 that his travel ban "was issued without a court ruling, because I committed no crime; I'm only defending my detained son," referring to his other son (Abdullah) who is being held by the authorities.
Mubarak Al-Binali stressed that stopping him at the causeway along with his family is "an arbitrary measure that humiliates the citizen."
He had stated on August 13, 2015 that his son (Abdullah Al-Binali) was referred to the Terror Crime Prosecution "where he was interrogated about the valueless things they confiscated from his house."
Al-Binali disclosed in another Tweet on (August 4, 2015) that the authorities renewed the detention of his nephew (Yousef Al-Binali) for 45 additional days over charges of "insulting a government employee."
اليوم على جسر السعودية وانا مع أهلي تم ابلاغي بأني ممنوع من السفر ، طبعاً دون أذن المحكمة لآني لم ارتكب جرم إلا أني ادافع عن أبني المعتقل .
