Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) showcased in its pavilion in the Cityscape exhibition in the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) real estate projects, owned by member of the ruling family, worth 10 billion US dollars.
The pavilion will exhibit the following projects: Diyar Al-Muharraq, Bahrain Bay, Durrat Al-Bahrain, Al-Bilad Real Estate Development Company's Garden City development, Manara Developments Company's Investment Gateway - Bahrain, and the Bahrain World Trade Center.
Khalid Al Rumaihi, chief executive of the Bahrain EDB, said: "We will be showcasing a number of leading developments worth around $10 billion to the international investors who will be part of this event."
A report prepared by the British Financial Times showed that Diyar Al-Muharraq, Bahrain Bay and marine backfilling projects showcased in Dubai now are owned by Bremer Company, an investment body which experts think it is possessed by the king and his family.
