Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Marzieh Afkham, advised the Bahraini government to settle its internal crisis through real national reconciliation instead of pointing the finger at others and making baseless accusations.
According to Iran's Foreign Ministry Media Diplomacy Department, Afkham rejected claims made by Bahraini Foreign Minister in an interview with Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper. Afkham recommended the "Bahraini government to set aside security and policing methods and to solve national grievances going ahead with national reconciliation." "The Bahrain government got used to making unfounded allegations and putting the blame on others to cover up national grievances," she added.
The newspaper has already published statements made by the Bahraini Foreign Minister in which he accused Iran of smuggling explosives to Bahrain.
