Bahrain Mirror: The National Audit Office in Bahrain has confirmed Al-Wefaq's compliance with its financial and administration requirements, and did not list remarks on the record of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society.
The National Audit Office's head, Hassan Al-Jalahma, sent a letter to Sheikh Hussain Al-Daihi, Deputy Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq, in which he praised Al-Wefaq's cooperation with the auditors, which resulted in the success of the audit procedures. "The Office has successfully completed the operational audit and found no vital remarks that require reporting or being mentioned in a report," Al-Jalahma stressed.
The office mentioned that the audit came within the framework of its plan for the 2 fiscal years 2014-2015 to inquire the incomes of political societies and their expenses pursuant to Articles 14 and 15 of clause 26/2005 and clause 7 of article 6 of the same law. The audit was also conducted to make sure that the societies are holding accounting journals and financial records as per the requirements of their statute.
