Bahraini King Chairs Royal Family Council Meeting Amid Absence of PM

Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa chaired the regular meeting of the Royal Family Council in the absence of the Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Bahrain News Agency only stated that "the meeting, held on Wednesday (September 23, 2015) at the Al-Sakhir Palace, was attended by the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and First Deputy Prime Minister."
It added that "The council also discussed the topics featuring on its agenda," without specifying these topics.
BNA further stated that King Hamad "paid homage to the late Shaikh Isa bin Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and lauded his role within the Royal Family Council". He, at the same time, wished "the new Director-General of the Royal Family Council Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa all the success in assuming the duties entrusted to him."
