Reform & Rehabilitation Center Says it Transferred Detainee Ali Faisal to Al-Salmaniya Medical Complex for Treatment

Bahrain Mirror: The administration of Bahrain's Reform and Rehabilitation Center denied having medical negligence towards detainee Ali Faisal who suffered from a sudden epilepsy seizure, adding that "he was treated in the psychiatry department before being transferred to the reform and rehabilitation center" and that "he was admitted to the Al-Salmaniya Medical Complex on October 2, 2015 where he was examined by a specialized doctor. He was also examined by a psychiatrist in the clinic of Reform and Rehabilitation center to follow up his condition." It also noted that he regularly takes his medications.
The center stressed that "it fulfills its legal duty towards all detainees" and that "the procedures are based on the rule of law with respect to human rights standards," calling on the media "to commit to professionalism, credibility and accuracy and not publish information subjectively."
