Bahraini MP: Naturalized Citizens Have More Rights than Bahrainis

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini Member of Parliament considered that recently naturalized citizens are enjoying more rights than Bahrainis.
MP Jalal Kadhem said that the recently naturalized citizens "are enjoying more rights than citizens, in addition to the lands owned by powerful figures in the government, which led to a lack of lands around villages," hoping that "taxes be imposed on these figures, because this situation will create a housing crisis and an increase in land prices."
The opposition says that the regime in Bahrain is resorting to naturalization outside the limits of the law in order to change the country's demographics. A large number of naturalized citizens are being illegally employed in security bodies to face the pro-democracy protestors, and they are also provided with appropriate housing, while a huge portion of the population suffers from unemployment and don't own houses.
