Zarif: Solution in Bahrain, Syria & Yemen Is Political. We Offered Proposals Based on Respecting People’s Will

Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that Iran had repeatedly announced that the solution in "Bahrain, Yemen, Syria and any other country is political," pointing out that Iran has given "proposals based on respecting the people's will and holding a dialogue."
In his statement, Zarif added that Iran believes that "regional countries can act as mediators to find political solutions to all the current crises, and we see that it's not possible to resolve these crises by a military option or by imposing conditions."
On a related note, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said that Iran has acted responsibly towards the regional developments and crises, including Syria, Yemen and Bahrain, and has always regarded political solution as the best option for resolving problems."
"Saudi Arabia has opted for militarism which does not have any outcome other than massacre of the innocent people, and we hope that it would immediately change this approach in a bid to stop the killing of innocent people and, rather, support political solutions to achieve stability and tranquility in the region," Afkham further stated.
