Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif confirmed that there are no talks between Bahrain and Iran to restore the Bahraini ambassador to Tehran, Rashid Al-Dosari, after Bahrain decided to withdraw its ambassador from Tehran during the onset of October, 2015. Manama declared the Iranian Charge D'affaires in Bahrain, Mohammad Reza Babaei, as "persona non grata," and announced that Babaei must leave Bahrain within a period of 72 hours.
Abdullatif explained that Bahrain withdrew its ambassador to protest Iran's interference in Bahrain's internal affairs but it hasn't closed its embassy in Tehran. He further stressed that there is no specified period for restoring the ambassador, for the matter depends on Iran's actions towards Bahrain.
