Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Ali bin Khalifa Al-Dhahrani, with the membership of judges Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa and Jamal Awad, and Ahmad Al-Sulaiman as secretariat, sentenced 6 suspects to 10 years in prison and another suspect to 3 years imprisonment over charges of setting fire to a scrap vehicle on the Formula 1 Street and acquitted the eighth suspect of all charges brought against him.
The court claims that the suspects deliberately set fire to a car on the Formula One Street on April 1, 2013, aiming at affecting the course of the 2013 F1 race, under the instructions of the February 14 Coalition.
It is noteworthy that the fourth criminal court was established in July 2013 to cover the enormous number of cases brought against the protestors and activists and to expedite issuing harsh sentences against them under the Terrorism Act.
