Bahrain Mirror: The local Bahraini Al-Ayam newspaper, owned by the Bahraini King's advisor Nabeel Al-Hamer, said that the British, Saudi, Iraqi and Egyptian Foreign Ministers will head their delegations in the Manama Dialogue to kick off on October 30 and last for 3 days.
Al-Ayam stressed that the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir, the Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, the Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled Al-Obeidi and the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will participate in the 11th security summit organized by Bahrain to discuss the region's security.
The newspaper added that the British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond will head his country's delegation at the summit. The delegation will include British political and military figures.
Turkey's representation will only be restricted to a Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs official, as the summit coincides with the Parliamentary elections in Turkey, Al-Ayam newspaper further stated.
The first session of the meeting to be held on Saturday (October 31, 2015) is said to discuss the US policies and regional security. The session will be attended by US military officials. The second session to be convened is entitled "The Middle East after the Nuclear Negotiations". However, the third and fourth sessions will tackle important issues, mainly "Extremism Challenges" and "Conflicts and Allies in the Middle East".
On its final day, the summit will hold closed meetings that will mainly address issues of Gulf defence, foreign powers, managing conflicts, Yemen's future and the role of political Islam.
