Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): A Bahraini court sentenced on Wednesday (November 11, 2015) 3 photographers to prison after the security authorities accused them of being involved in setting fire to a security patrol vehicle. The photographers; however, denied this charge.
The court handed down 10-year jail term sentences to each of the photographers Mostafa Rabie and Ahmad Zainuddin. Meanwhile, it handed down a 3-year jail term to the photographer Hossam Srour.
The photographers stressed that the authorities subjected them to torture to extract incriminating confessions.
The court also adjourned the case of the photographer Ahmad Al-Mosawi until November 2015. Al-Mosawi is awarded international prizes. The authority accuses him of joining a terrorist cell.
