Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wasat newspaper said that "3 mosques among those that were mentioned in the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) report will not be rebuilt, as the Under Secretary of the Bahraini Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, Fareed Al-Muftah, announced submitting over 13 Shiite mosques, the last batch of mosques mentioned in the list of the BICI report, after their construction was completed."

The three mosques are "Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Salmabad, Abo Thar Al-Ghafari Mosque in Nuwaidrat and Fatima Al-Zahraa Mosque in Zayed Town," according to the newsletter.

The location of Abo Thar Al-Ghafari Mosque in Nuwaidrat, which was demolished during National Safety period in 2011, is still fenced and no one is allowed to pray there. The authorities put some games for the children there after a quarrel with the residents regarding the land, which the residents stress that there are official documents proving the location of the mosque in the region and that it is within the residential project and it was not a park before 2011, but a mosque. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning said that the land was for a public park and that the building process took place illegally and with no license.

As for Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque that the residents themselves rebuilt and that is located in the internal roundabout of Salmabad, the newspaper pointed out that a piece of land was allocated for the construction of the mosque and it is located near the mosque's current location. However, it will not be rebuilt.

"The mosque that was built by the residents opens its doors for the worshippers on the times of prayers and has become surrounded with trees, which added a beautiful touch to it," it added.

The administration of Jaffaria Endowments (Waqf) stressed in its records that Fatima Al-Zahraa Mosque in Zayed Town was indeed a mosque. Meanwhile, the residents say it was a cabin where they used to pray before being demolished in 2011. The residents were surprised that the mosque has not been rebuilt yet since over 6 years although there are official documents showing the mosque's location in Zayed Town.

They highlighted that they haven't rebuilt the mosque since more than 6 years is because they didn't receive a construction license from the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, urging the ministry to issue the license. The residents also stated that the land of the mosque is still available and the mosque can be built on it, stressing that none of them has any objection to its construction.
