8 Bahraini HR Groups Call for Participation in Solidarity Campaign with Child Victims on Universal Children's Day

Bahrain Mirror: Eight Bahraini Human Rights Organizations launched a campaign to voice their stance against violence and violations practiced against children in Bahrain.
The organizations called for using the #Save_Children in #Bahrain hashtag in a tweeting campaign on social media at 8:00 p.m. on the Universal Children's Day which happens to be on Friday, November 20, 2015.
The Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Bahrain Human Rights Observatory, Bahrain Human Rights Society, SALAM for Democracy and Human Rights, the European-Bahraini Organization for Human Rights, Bahrain Forum for Human Rights, Canadian Justice Human Rights Organization and LuaLua Center for HUMAN Rights signed the statement.
Human Rights Organizations' data show that there are about 300 child and student detainees, who are held in the Bahraini prisons over political incidents. This represents 15% of the total number of the crisis detainees who amount to approximately 2,000.
