Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's First High Criminal Court, presided over by judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa with the membership of judges Dia' Huraidi and Issam-Eldeen Mohammad Khalil and Naji Abdullah as secretariat, sentenced, on Sunday, November 15, 2015, twelve suspects to life imprisonment and revoked their Bahraini citizenships in a case of 14 suspects accused of establishing a "terrorist group that made several bomb blasts targeting security forces in Al-Qaria and Janabiyah. The court also sentenced two Asians to one year in prison and ordered deporting them."

The Attorney-General Ahmed Al-Hammadi said in a statement that the Public Prosecution concluded its investigations in the case in which suspects detonated a number of bombs that targeted security forces in Al-Qaria and Janabiyah. The suspects carried out 6 bombings between 2013 and 2014, as they used to plant a bomb, hide it, make riots and set fire to tires and trash containers to attract policemen. As soon as the policemen arrive to the location, the suspects detonate these bombs remotely via cell phones. As a result, a number of policemen were injured and caused damages to Interior Ministry vehicles.

Al-Hammadi said that the investigations led to identifying the suspects, whom were 12 along with 2 other Asians. One of the Asians used to work for one of the suspects. The two Asians forged the registrations of mobile phones used in detonating the bomb. All the suspects were arrested. The first suspect informed the prosecution about a bomb which they planted and about arms and explosives which they hid in Janabiya and Al-Zahraa obsequies. The arms were seized based on the public prosecution's permission.

The prosecution accused the suspects, from the first to the twelfth, of deliberately attempting to kill policemen while performing their duties, detonating bombs and possessing explosives to terrorize people, endanger their lives and breach public security for a terrorist purpose. The thirteenth suspect was accused of using someone else's identity with the intention to buy a SIM card which was used in detonating the bombs, although he was aware of the aim. The fourth suspect was accused of forging a signature on the SIM cards sales receipt, which one of them was used in detonating the bomb, although he was aware of the aim.
