Trial of 14 suspects in “Saraya Al-Ashtar” Case Begins Under Terrorism Act

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's fourth High Criminal Court began on Sunday (November 22, 2015) looking into the case known as "Saraya Al-Ashtar" in which 14 Bahrainis are accused. The court decided to adjourn the case until December 10, 2015 for further consideration.
The 14 suspects (10 of whom are detained and 4 fugitives) face several charges: organizing, managing and joining a terrorist group contrary to the rule of law, causing many explosions, acquiring explosive materials, training on the use of arms, attempting to kill policemen and threatening their safety for a terrorist purpose, assembling, rioting, acquiring flammable materials and damaging properties belonging to others.
