Bahraini Courts Issue 429 Year Prison Terms in Just One Day

Bahraini Mirror: Bahrain's main opposition group, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, said that Bahraini courts have issued on Monday (November 23, 2015) jail terms that reach up to 429 years against 36 protestors.
Al-Wefaq added that the courts sentenced 3 Bahraini citizens to 15 years in prison and 10 others to 10 years of imprisonment over a case of a political background.
"In another case, the same court sentenced 16 citizens to 15 years in prison, 3 others to 10 years of imprisonment, and issued a verdict revoking the citizenships of 13 Bahrainis. In a third case, the same court sentenced a citizen to 5 years in prison, and 3 others to 3 years over a case of political background," it further stated.
