Bahrain Mirror: The local Bahraini Al-Wasat newspaper said in its latest issue that the heavy rain that fell in Bahrain on Tuesday (November 24, 2015) revealed the harsh reality of the infrastructure in a number of areas in the Muharraq Governorate. The rain caused floods in the streets, some parts of a house collapsed in Halat Bu Maher, and a teacher fell in a holes dug up by the Ministry of Works near Omar bin Abdulaziz Elementary School for Boys.
The newspaper added that Muharraq residents launched a scathing attack on Muharraq's governor, the municipality and the municipal council. One of the citizens wondered why the governor Salman bin Hindi and the President of Muharraq Municipality Council Mohammad Al Senan did not check on the residents and ask what they and the area needed.
Al-Wasat also covered a number of accidents caused by the rain in each of "Fareej station, Halat Bu Maher, Fareej Al-Sagha, Al-Busaiteen, Al-Dair, Samaheej and Galali."
