Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Fourth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani sentenced 3 Bahrainis to 3 years in prison over burning tires and joining assembly in Samaheej.
The authorities said that a group of unknown individuals set fire to 3 tires behind a club in Samaheej. Meanwhile, investigations and confidential sources stated that the suspects participated in the incident.
The Bahraini Public Prosecution stated that the defendants, along with other unknown suspects, started a fire in a manner that endangered people's lives and properties. It also accused them of participating in an assembly of more than 5 persons, aiming at violating public security.
It is noteworthy that the fourth criminal court was established in July 2013 to cover the enormous number of cases brought against the protestors and activists and to expedite issuing harsh sentences against them under the Terrorism Act.
