Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain security forces linked to the Ministry of Interior arrested and imprisoned, Mahmoud Al-Alawi, a former detainee known as the "Chief of Military Men" who served three years in prison before he was released in 2014.
Security forces had raided his apartment in the Jedali area and thoroughly searched the place, including the floors. Al-Alawi used to work in the Ministry of Interior and declared his support for the February 14 revolution in 2011. He was arrested in April 2011 during the period when the emergency law was imposed and sentenced by a military court to 12 years of imprisonment. His sentence; however, was later commuted to a three-year prison term. Al-Alawi was enjoying his freedom before he was arrested once again on November 14, 2015.
