Sadrist Movement Leader: Arrests Won't Dim Revolution Flame of Bahraini People

Bahrain Mirror: The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr, reiterated his support for the Bahraini revolution, describing it as "immortal" and calling it the "beating heart of the Arab Spring". He further stressed that the arrests made by the Bahraini authorities against activists "will not dim the revolutionary flame of the Bahraini people."
According to Iraqi news agencies, Al-Sadr also said: "I haven't and will not forget the immortal Bahraini revolution in both times of ease and hardship. I haven't indeed forgotten it in my prayers and supplications, for it is the beating heart and vein providing the [Arab] Spring with life and continuity."
"I ask Allah to release all oppressed detainees, particularly the journalists of the live, real and revolutionarily media," he further stated, stressing that "these arrests will not dim the revolutionary flame of the beloved Bahraini people."
