Bahrain’s King Hamad Pardons 219 Detainees

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) stated that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued a special decree of pardon and release of 219 detainees, after they had served some of their prison terms.
BNA didn't mention whether the list of detainees was linked to political issues.
Bahrain holds around 4,000 people in prisons due to their participation in protests aiming at putting an end to the Al Khalifa family's monopoly over power.
