Bahrain Arrests Layla Abdulnabi Raising Number of Female Detainees to 6

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities arrested on Tuesday (December 15, 2015) Layla Abdulnabi, after the court of appeals sentenced her to 6 months in prison over Jaw Prison events that took place on March 10, 2015.
She is detainee Jamil Abdulghani's mother, who protested the police's assault on one of her family members during their visit, before the police officers attacked her, sparking widespread unrest inside the prison.
The Bahraini authorities holds 5 Bahraini women in prison: Taiba Darwish, Sediqa Al-Basri, Jalilia Al-Sayyed Amin, Rayhana Al-Musawi and Layla Al-Qaseer.
