Bahraini Forces’ Crackdown on Anti-Regime Protests Leaves Several Injured

Bahrain Mirror: A number of anti-regime protestors were injured in Bahrain on Wednesday (December 16, 2015) after security forces cracked down protests, using shotgun pellets to disperse demonstrators on the eve of the "Martyrs Day" commemoration.
Bahrainis commemorate those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the movement demanding to put an end to the Al Khalifa family's monopoly over power on December 17 of every year, while the king celebrates his accession anniversary.
Various areas across the country witnessed protests during which anti-regime slogans were chanted, calling for a democrati regime that would put an end to the ruling family's autocratic rule.
