Shura Committee Wants to Grant Retired Military Officers Special Passports

Bahrain Mirror: The Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee of the Bahraini Shura Council recommended passing a bill aimed at continuing to grant military personnel-only brigadier generals and officers of higher ranks- special passports following their retirement.
The bill said the passport should be granted on the conditions that the officer's service "wasn't terminated due to a disciplinary order or court verdict."
The committee agreed to the bill which was referred to the Shura Council.
