Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Abdullah Al-Shamlawi said that the Bahraini Terrorist Crime Prosecution released "4 suspects of forming a terrorist group and attempting to blow up mosque;" i.e. the ISIS cell case which a Bahraini court opened in its trial on Tuesday (December 22, 2015).
Al-Shamlawi explained on his official Twitter account on Thursday (December 24, 2015) that the four suspects were released because "they didn't confess", he added that they are between the ages of 17 and 24.
The case files revealed that the 24 suspects had planned to blow up a Shiite mosque in the village of A'ali.
The case documents listed names of Bahrainis who were stripped of their nationalities for engaging in fighting outside the country. The main suspect is the ISIS theorist and preacher Turki Al-Binali. They also included names of Bahraini fighters affiliated to the terrorist group who were killed in Iraq and Syria.
A number of activists on social media criticized what they described as "double standards" in the Bahraini government's dealing with opposition members, as it publishes their pictures and names on Bahraini national television directly after announcing the seizure of a "cell", yet refuses to publish the pictures and names of the suspects of forming an ISIS branch in Bahrain.
