Bahrain & Pakistan Hold Joint Naval Exercises in Karachi

Bahrain Mirror: The Pakistani website PakObserver stated that the Bahraini Royal Navy completed with its Pakistani counterpart on Saturday the joint "Shahine Island Exercises" in the city of Karachi.
The website noted that the "leaders of the special forces operations were confident that the exercises will prove its benefit in enhancing joint action between the two parties as well as between their special forces operations".
PakObserver mentioned that "due to the multiple threats in the Indian Ocean region, the special forces of both countries conducted several operations linked to the fight against maritime terrorism and maritime interdiction operations by the special naval forces".
It is noteworthy that Shahine Exercises is a group of special forces operations, it started taking place since 1997 between the special forces of the two countries in both Karachi and Manama.
