Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): Dozens of Bahraini protestors were injured on Sunday (January 3, 2016) after the Bahraini regime forces cracked down with shotgun pellets on protesters frustrated at the Saudi regime's execution of Sheikh Nimr Al-Nimr.

Government forces cracked down on protesters in various areas across Bahrain using force , before drowning residential areas in tear gas.

The demonstrations continued for a second continuous day, as protesters held photos of the Shiite Saudi cleric Al-Nimr and shouted chants denouncing the Al Saud family's rule. They also expressed their rejection of the continued Saudi military presence in the island kingdom.

Saudi forces invaded the country on March 2011 to back the Bahraini regime in crushing the popular demonstrations which took the Pearl Roundabout in the heart of the Bahraini capital Manama as its center.

Since then, Saudi Arabia has not announced the withdrawal of its forces, estimated to be 1,300 members of the Saudi National Guard, which entered the country aboard dozens of armored vehicles.
