Fadhel Abbas’s Appeal Adjourned until March 3rd 2016

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's High Court of Appeals, presided over by judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as secretariat, decided on Sunday (January 10, 2016) to adjourn the case of the Secretary-General of the National Democratic Unity Gathering Society, Fadhel Abbas, who is sentenced to 5 years in prison over a statement issued by the society condemning the war on Yemen.
The court scheduled March 3rd, 2016 to listen to the attesting witness. Lawyer Mohammad Al-Matawa' attended the hearing to listen to the attesting witness who didn't attend, since he has an official obligation according to the lawyer representing the witness.
The Fourth High Criminal Court had sentenced Abbas on June 28, 2015 to 5 years in prison over spreading false information, malicious rumors and accusations that may cause damage to operations of Bahraini armed military forces.
