Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour Released without Charges after Interrogation

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities released on Wednesday (February 24, 2016) the Imam of Imam Sadiq Mosque in Diraz, the prominent Shiite cleric Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour, after interrogation without raising any charges against him.
The authorities had summoned the top shiite cleric for questioning on Tuesday (February 23, 2016).
Since the Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa delivered a speech in which he attacked the followers of the Shiite sect and threatened to stop their religious rituals, the Bahraini authorities has summoned two Shiite clerics for interrogation over publicly expressing their viewpoints.
