Reports Say Shahrekan Injured Youth Admitted to Military Hospital

Bahrain Mirror: There are reports that state that the pursued Bahraini youth, Ali Abdulghani, from the area of Shahrekan was admitted to the military hospital. Abdulghani, who is sentenced in absentia to 5 years in prison, was injured while attempting to flee from police officers on Thursday (March 31, 2016). The Bahraini Interior Ministry said that his injury was a result of "his attempt to escape and falling off a one the buildings in the village of Shaherkan." Circulated photos of Abdulghani show him lying on the ground at the moment of his arrest, where 16 members for security forces were surrounding him.
Activists on social media said that the authorities took Abdulghani in an ambulance, yet the ministry didn't clarify the nature of his medical condition.
