Bahraini Court Sentences "Mnarfezhom" to 5 Months in Prison for Accusing Two People of Inciting to Overthrow Regime

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Third Minor Criminal Court, presided over by judge Jaber Al-Jazzar and Mahmoud Isa as secretariat, convicted owner of "Mnarfezhom" Twitter account in two new cases, in which he was accused of insulting two citizens, accusing them of betraying the country and inciting to overthrow the regime.
The court sentenced him to 3 months in prison on 100 BD bail over the first case and to two months on 200 BD bail over the second charge.
Abdullah Hashem, a Bahraini lawyer who takes cases of extremist group members in Bahrain, said that the verdict is deemed an unprecedented move since the suspect belongs to the Al Khalifa family that rules the country.
