Labour Minister: About 7,000 Bahrainis Unemployed with 85% Females

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel Humaidan, stated that the total number of unemployed people in Bahrain reached 6,946 during the first quarter of the year; 15% males and 85% females.
In response to a parliamentary question, the minister said that around 7,000 citizens register annually at the ministry seeking jobs, adding that most of these job seekers are fresh graduates.
