Bahrain Mirror: The total prison sentences issued against owner of "Mnarefzhom" Twitter account reached a total of one year after a Bahraini minor criminal court sentenced him on Tuesday (May 24, 2016) to 7 months in prison with 500 BD bail for terminating the execution of the sentence. Owner of "Mnarfezhom" account was recently sentenced to 5 months in prison over two other cases on 300 BD bail.

The court sentenced the defendant to 2 months in prison on 200 BD bail over the first case and 2 months on 100 BD bail over the second. It also sentenced him to 3 months in prison on 200 BD bail over a third case. Following investigations, the public prosecution referred the suspect to court after charging him with publically associating an action to the victim that would expose him to punishment and contempt, publically insulting the victim and abusing means of communication.

Three citizens had filed complaints against the account owner, claiming that he insulted and accused them of seeking to change and overthrow the regime in Bahrain
