Bahrain Interior Ministry Says Detainees in Dry Dock Prison Escaped

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced in the early hours of Saturday (May 4, 2016) that a number of detainees held at the preventive detention center in Dry Dock Prison managed to escape Friday night.
In a statement, the ministry said that it have taken all the necessary security and legal measures, concerning the incident.
Interior Minister Rashed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa issued a decision to form a committee for the purpose of investigating the incident, identify the suspects involved in the event and take the necessary legal procedures regarding the matter.
The ministry deployed dozens of security service vehicles and members on main roads and set up checkpoints to search for the fugitives, which caused heavy traffic.
