Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Mohammed Al-Jishi said that prominent human rights activist Nabeel Rajab is in need of medical treatment due to his deteriorating health condition, and since he will undergo two surgeries within the coming days.
However, Al-Jishi stated that Rajab's lawyers sent a letter to the public prosecutor in which they asked him to transfer Rajab's to a different detention center and provide him with necessary medical and health care.
Human Rights Watch issued a statement in which it called on the Bahraini authorities to release Nabeel Rajab and restore Sheikh Isa Qassim's citizenship.
HRW stressed that Rajab is currently being held in an unsanitary prison cell in Rifa'a police station, in an attempt to insult him.
