Judge Extends Taiba Ismail's Detention for 15 more Days Pending Investigation

Bahrain Mirror: A judge renewed on Monday (July 4, 2016) the detention of detainee Taiba Ismail for 15 additional days pending investigations, reported rights activist Iman Al-Hubaishi.
The Bahraini authorities arrested Taiba Ismail on Sunday (June 26, 2016) after raiding her house and confiscating her electronic devices. The Public Prosecution decided on the following day to detain Ismail for one week pending investigation.
Human rights activists stressed that Ismail's arrest was based on charges related to freedoms of expression and opinion.
