Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Ministry of Interior announced that it arrested two suspects accused of "Al-Ekr Blast", the mysterious bombing that killed Fakhriya Msallam on Thursday (June 30, 2016).
The ministry further claimed in its statement that it is still pursuing a third suspect who fled to Iran.
The ministry alleged that investigations have revealed that the military-grade explosives were hidden inside a bag under a billboard. The blast caused the spread of shrapnel capable of penetrating bodies and metal. Metal balls were found 120 meters from the blast area.
Bahraini organizations and societies refused the government's narrative and urged it to launch a transparent and independent investigation; the government, however, does not respond to such demands.
