Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Terror Crime Prosecutor Khalid Al-Tamimi announced that two suspects were arrested in connection with the East Eker blast that took place on June 30 and led to the death of a Bahraini citizen. Al-Tamimi further stated that the suspects confessed and re-enacted the crime.
"An investigation into the attack that occurred on Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, near Nuwaidrat roundabout, found that one of the suspects, who are still at large in Iran, and work for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, had tasked the two accused to carry out the explosion. It was an attempt to target police patrols and kill police officers," Al-Tamimi claimed in a statement.
The blast had left a Bahraini woman, Fakhriya Msallam, 42, killed and her three children injured.
