Bahrain Court Refuses to Release Nabeel Rajab, Adjourns Trial until Sept. 5

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court rejected a request to release prominent human rights activist and president of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Nabeel Rajab, on Tuesday (August 2, 2016), who is being tried over expressing his opinions.
The High Criminal Court adjourned the case until September 5, 2016.
The authorities accuse Rajab of insulting the Interior Ministry and Saudi Arabia, in Tweets posted on his personal Twitter account, criticizing the war on Yemen.
