Bahrain Mirror: For the third consecutive week, worshipers in Imam Al-Sadiq mosque, where largest Shia Friday prayer is held, had to perform their prayers alone (without being led by the Imam) after the authorities prevented the Imam of the mosque and large number of worshiper from entering Diraz.
The statement which was read in the mosque said "after preventing the substitute Imam of Shia's largest Friday prayer in Imam Al-Sadiq mosque and worshipers from reaching Diraz to perform the prayers, we announce the stopping of the Friday prayers for the third consecutive week. To Allah we shall complain."
Protestors held anti-regime slogans demanding putting an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power and discrimination against Shia.
