Bahrain Mirror: The local Bahraini Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper that has close ties with the Prime Minister said that a Bahraini court adjourned the case of detained Shiite cleric Sheikh Ali Hmaidan to 18 August over assembly in Diraz.
The newspaper added that the authorities published photos for Sheikh Hmaidan and Sayed Majeed Al-Mashaal while being in Diraz rally around Sheikh Isa Qassim.
The authorities are suing the head of Ulama Islamic Council Sayed Majeed Al-Mashaal and other Shiite clerics over the open strike held in front of Sheikh Isa Qassim that started in June 20, after the authorities revoked his citizenship.
The authorities also arrested 13 Shiite clerics and summoned about 50 since the beginning of the strike.
