Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court commenced on Tuesday (August 23, 2016) the trial of Shiite cleric Sheikh Ali Rahma over charges of "illegal assembly", based on his participation in the open sit-in protest in Diraz.
The court; however, adjourned the case until August 31, 2016.
It is noteworthy that the authorities summoned Sheikh Rahma for interrogation on June 23 and 25, a few days after the Bahraini Shia spiritual leader Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim was stripped of his citizenship.
