Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court commenced on Wednesday (August 24, 2016) the trial of Shiite cleric Sheikh Jassim Bader Al-Mutawa.
The court; however, adjourned the case until August 31, 2016 to inform him.
Al-Mutawa faces charge of illegal assembly and inciting hatred against the regime, based on his participation in the open sit-in protest in front of Sheikh Isa Qassim's house in Diraz.
The authorities launched wide campaign against Shia clerics in the country after they revoked the citizenship of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim, which prompted condemnation.
