Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The King of Bahrain issued on August 4, 2016 a decree to appoint Talal Mohammad Al Khalifa as president of the National Security Agency. So who is Talal Al Khalifa?

There are keywords that introduce this man and unveil his identity. He is the second son of the former Foreign Minister and brother of the current Bahraini Ambassador to the UK. And there is businessman Hussain Najadi, who is most certainly linked to his name.

When Talal Mohammad Al Khalifa took office as the head of national security, he also inherited the legacy of the infamous British torturer Ian Henderson, after receiving training at the British army's Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, like all his predecessors.

Businessman "Hussain Najadi" is a key figure in the upbringing of Talal, a fact that reveals the very principles he was raised upon, as his father, who abused his authority as an interior minister and member of the ruling family, took Najadi by force and threats, stripped him of his fortune and threw him behind bars without trial for more than seven years. He remained imprisoned until a court declared him innocent.

This type of brutal behaviour was passed on to his eldest son Fawaz. The period during which he took office of the information minister proves the saying "like father, like son," as he launched a vicious campaign, inciting people against dissent, publishing their pictures and describing them as terrorists, traitors and Safavids on national television. Fawaz aimed at tarnishing their reputation just for being part of the opposition, and perhaps the case of detained athletes reveals some of his cruel ways!

During that period and until a royal decree was issued assigning Talal Mohammad Al Khalifa as National Security Agency president, Talal was in the shadow, preparing himself to inherit the throne of one of the filthiest security bodies in Bahrain, leaving his clear fingerprints in taking revenge on all the victims languishing in the dark cells of the Interior Ministry fort.

Only recently did the second son of the former Interior Minister Mohammad Al Khalifa and the younger brother of Bahrain's Ambassador to the UK, Fawaz Al Khalifa enter the current scene as the successor of the notorious British torturer "Ian Henderson".

Before that, Talal Al Khalifa chose to follow his eldest brother's footsteps Fawaz by exploiting sports in order to make fake accomplishments and glory, which were nothing but imported goods- naturalized athletes- wrapped and labeled "Made in Bahrain".

Talal Al Khalifa's decision to head the strength sports association in Bahrain wasn't made at random, as it is the only sports association that continues to import African athletes in particular and grant them the Bahraini nationality. They are only paid naturalized athletes who bring back empty medals in the "name of Bahrain".

This is how Talal lives, in false glory, as did his brother Fawaz, to gain his tribe's praise that is also stuck in a bubble of illusion. All he wants is to honor his family and tribe's name with these achievements and not that of Bahrain. When naturalized athletes win medals, no one cares but those who brought them, and in fact, Al Khalifa doesn't care if Bahrainis celebrate these false victories; as he is only concerned about the victories he makes in his own name not Bahrain's.

This is his biography as stated in his book, entitled "Sandhurst Royal Military Academy: half a century of Bahraini British Military Relations":

He was Born in the Kingdom of Bahrain on February 21, 1972.

He received his elementary and high school education in the International School of Bahrain.

He then entered Sandhurst academy from which graduated in 1992.

He attained a Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs and Law from Georgetown university in 1999.

In the following year, he attained a Master's Degree in National Security Studies from the same university.

He later attained a Master's Degree in Military Science from the King's College in the United Kingdom in 2007.

He is currently preparing his PhD in military science at the University of Exeter in the UK.

He attended many specialized military training sessions at the most prestigious schools and universities in Britain and the United States.

He was assigned to a number of military positions, including Assistant Military Attaché at the Bahraini Embassy in Washington, and many posts at the Royal Special Forces unit.

He was awarded the medal for dialogue and medal of merit.

He's married and has two sons, Hamad and Isa, and enjoys the hobbies of horseback riding, running and reading.
