Al-Wefaq Deputy Secretary General Condemns Sanaa Massacre, Deems it a Crime against Humanity

Bahrain Mirror: Deputy Secretary General of al-Wefaq National Islamic Society in Bahrain, Sheikh Hussein al-Daihi, expressed his condolences to the Yemeni people over the Sanaa massacre. In a statement delivered Tuesday (October 11, 2011), Sheikh al-Daihi stated, "On behalf of the Bahraini nation, we present our sincere condolences and empathy with the great Yemeni people over the horrifying bloody massacre, which resulted in hundreds of martyred and injured victims, in Al-Sala AlKubra in Sanaa."
"We express our sincere condolences to the families of martyrs, and condemn these crimes against humanity committed against our Yemeni brothers. We call for a serious investigation of this crime," he further added.
Moreover, Al-Wefaq's deputy Secretary General called upon the "international community to take upon itself the humanitarian responsibility in halting the Yemeni bloodshed, which is unjustly sheds over the whole world to see every day."
