2016-10-23 - 12:56 am
Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court held its session on October 16, 2016, in which it had to issue its verdict against activist Khalil Al-Halwachi.
Fatima Al-Halwachi, daughter of detainee Khalil Al-Halwachi, said that the authorities refused to allow them to attend the trial session.
The court set October 31 as a date to issue its verdict against Al-Halwachi due to "judge's travel".
It is mention that Al-Halwachi (59 years) was arrested on September 3, 2014 and that he spent more than 2 years in prison before a judicial verdict was issued against him, which prompted condemnation from some human rights organizations.
